Holiday Booking Terms & Conditions – 55 WEBB ST, Melbourne Holiday Rental. The terms and conditions of letting the property is agreed by both parties as follows: Deposit Upon booking, or within 7 days of making the booking, and agreed deposit (usually 25%) must be paid. If the deposit is not received within the set time frame the booking lapses. The deposit is part of the total tariff payable. This may be paid by credit card – no surcharge applies to this payment. Final Payment The balance of the total tariff is to be paid on arrival or prior to the commencement of the booking. Cash, direct deposit, AU$ bank cheque or money order preferred. A 4% surcharge for credit card (V/MC) payments applies final payment due to the high cost of this facility to the merchant. Cancellations We apologise for having to implement a charge for cancellations but we must cover our Visa /MC processing Merchant costs. We hope you understand. All cancellations will incur a $30 cancellation fee. If your booking is cancelled 15 days or more prior to your arrival your deposit will be refunded minus the cancellation fee. If you cancel your booking within 15 days of your arrival the full tariff is due and any refund is subject to the property being rebooked for the same time. There will be no refunds for for 'no shows' or early departures. Premium Dates – Special terms & Conditions Premium dates are special event times and minimum bookings apply - Melbourne Cup Carnival Grand Prix Australian Open AFL Grand Final Other Major Event Deposits taken for these premium dates are non-refundable and full payment is usually due thirty days prior to event date. Check-in and Check-out Times The property is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 10:30am on day of departure. (This can sometimes be varied by special arrangement and is dependent on prior/next reservations). A door code will be provided for early or late arrivals. Number of Occupants The number of occupants must not exceed the number advised for the reservation and must never exceed five adults. Property Condition Every effort is made to present the property in first class condition. Please leave the house the way you found it. You are responsible for breakages or damage occuring during your occupancy.
